For 20 years Karen Everton had worked hard training and selling quality family type horses on her farm in Kendall, WA, but when the bottom dropped out of the horse market several years ago, Karen decided it was time for a change. 

  I worked and lived on Karen's farm when she came to me one day and told me we were going to start buying and reselling estates.  Made sense, we already had a truck, trailer, and buildings to store "stuff" at the farm.  So on a rainy northwest winter day we drove south of Bellingham and bought our first estate!  Now what?  Sell stuff!

Every six weeks at the farm we began having huge four day long garage sales, weather permitting of course, as well as selling smaller items on EBAY.  The garage sales became so popular it became apparent it was time to open a store in Bellingham where shopping could happen rain or shine. 

  So Penny Pinchers Estate Clearance was born.  Penny Pinchers now employs 6 full time employees and several part time helpers.  At our retail store current location, located at 4894 Guide Meridian,in Bellingham WA  Penny Pinchers offers thousands of unique vintage, antique, and modern treasures.  Over 8,500 square feet of shopping packed with vintage kitchenware, antique glassware, themed décor, period style furniture (every time period you can think of), artwork, upcycled furniture/ home décor, antique canning jars, tools (modern & antique), rustic yard art, home lighting, DVD's, CD's, Books, the list just goes on.  Everyday new inventory is added.
